Dennis began playing drums at the age of 13 on a small electric drum-set. Being mostly self taught he early on included influences of bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden or Rise Against into his playing, which paved the way for him to dive deeper into the world of metal drumming. Just a few years later he got his first experience in a local cover band, which led him to forming his first own metalcore band „Fallen Crown“ together with his brothers, with which he then played his first gigs. By playing in that band he honed in his skills as a metal drummer and additionally also learned the basics of jazz and Bigband drumming, though his passion stayed in the world of metal. In 2015 Dennis joined the band „Suzen’s Garden“ with which he played his first tour and shortly after that began diving into the studio to work on all new material. Over the next years he worked on the first album with this band, which was refounded under the name „Valid blU“ and also produced the first CD for his band Fallen Crown. Then in 2021 Valid blU finally released their long awaited album „WFYB.TV“ as a double vinyl and also published the debut EP „Alive“ with Fallen Crown.
