As a drummer with over 30 years of experience, I have witnessed many things in my time but in 2005 in the middle of a show my worst nightmare became reality; my sticks hit my inconveniently positioned snare microphone twice, and as if that wasn't enough, our singer got caught in two of my tom microphone cables during our performance and they too 'said goodbye' at the same time.

I am sure that every drummer has experienced similar situations,

but after the events of this particular evening, I decided that night that I had to find a way to change something.

That was the beginning of the story of SOUNDHOOPS  – designed by a drummer for drummers.

It took years from the initial idea to the eventual series production.

We founded our family business in 2015 and, with the help of sound engineer Tommy Newton (http://www.area51recordingstudios.com/de/) we were able to expand our product range with 2 of our own microphones specially developed for toms and snares.
